tinyCAM!, copywrite 1994 by P.S. Neeley tinyCAM! (TINYCAM!.EXE) is a Windows 3.1 shareware utility that captures the screen, or alternately the active window, to successive BMP files. It is an essential utility in collecting the raw screen images needed for help file development, user documentation illustration, the accurate recording of unusual program events or bugs, and the collection and preserving of important screen images. The files included within TINYCAM!.ZIP are the following: README.TXT - this instruction file TINYCAM!.EXE - the tinyCAM! executable TINYCAM!.HLP - the tinyCAM! help file DWSPYDLL.DLL - Desaware's SPYworks DLL SBCKBD.VBX - Desaware's SPYworks Keyboard hook VBX CAMERA.WAV - Camera sounds CAMERA2.WAV - " CAMERA3.WAV - " tinyCAM! is written in Visual Basic 3.0. As such, it requires that VBRUN300.DLL exists in your Windows System directory. I have a 'slick' install program that takes care of everything having to do with installation, but for file exchanges across BBSs it takes up too much room -- adding almost 300K to the files. So . . . to install tinyCAM!, please do the following: 1. Check that VBRUN300.DLL is in your Windows System directory. If not, please download a copy and place it there. There is almost certainly a copy of VBRUN300.DLL on the BBS or Service from which you downloaded tinyCAM!; probably as a zipped file with a name such as VBRUN300.ZIP, or VB300.ZIP, etc. 2. Place the Desaware SPYworks-VB version 2.0 files -- DWSPYDLL.DLL and SBCKBD.VBX -- in your Windows System directory. These files allow tinyCAM! to establish hooks into the windows keyboard system that set-up HotKeys to act as the camera shutter release button. 2. Create a directory TINYCAM! (or whatever else you'd like to call it). 3. Copy TINYCAM!.EXE, TINYCAM!.HLP, README.TXT, and the CAMERA wav files into the new TINYCAM! directory. 4. Create a program manager icon for TINYCAM!.EXE by adding it as a file in your ACCESSORIES program manager group (or any other group you'd like). That's it. Thanks for using tinyCAM!. I hope its useful for you too!, Steve Neeley
